Going to SM from FF does it get the Bookmarks, Mail Address, etc?? on

Silverfox,

It has been a long time since I tried that rout, I can only guess.

If SM cannot automatically import all your old file content (Bookmarks,
Mail settings, Address books, Passwords, etc.), you should be able yo
manually import them from the user interface in SM.

Thanks Michael, but it`s been a very long time since I went through this
and can not remember exactly what to do? Can you help?

Thanks

Silverfox,

SeaMonkey is built like an Apartment House, each floor is a different function; mail, browser, address book, chat, etc. In each user interface you should see a menu bar near the top of the window, and one of the tabs will read "Tools". In tools you should have an option to Import data. This all works well if the data can be found. One big problem in earlier versions of the Internet Suite was the ability to install the program and its files in custom made folders/directories in place of the default pathways SeaMonkey had in its install configuration. That is why we have an "Import Option".
