And if you use Manage Bookmarks to find

Drag&drop...or do I misunderstand the question?
OK, this led me to a usable workaround:
Having found the desired link in the MB search window, drag and drop it
to the desired folder. This creates a copy, and the search window is
updated instantly, showing both the original (highlighted) and the copy
(not highlighted). Delete the original (highlighted) copy by pressing
Del.
I never do learn where it was misplaced, but now it's where it belongs.
Thanks.
...interesting. If I drag and drop in the Sidebar Bookmarks it does
*not* create a copy - it just move the Bookmark to where I want it, and
does so if I drag from one folder to another or from the navigation bar.
Which is exactly how I like it, and my preferred method for Bookmarking.
It works right if I find the bookmark in the folder tree and drag/drop
it elsewhere in the folder tree. Only the search window does this.
Of course, for me to drag/drop it within the folder tree, I need to know
where it is to begin with.
