When I clicked on the Adobe Acrobat in the Helper Applications, I can
select another program to re-place AA, but I cannot tell SM to use the
Extension.
Is there some other setting that I should be adjusting?? Or am I stuck??
Just tested, and PDF Viewer displays the PDF I tested just fine in SM
2.17.1.
Never having installed Adobe, I don't have anything listed in Helper
Applications for PDF's.
It doesn't even show the Firefox setting of Portable Document Format
(PDF) Preview in Firefox, which should be Preview in SeaMonkey for this
case. Strange.
Try a new profile.
O.K., then if it works for you, Walt, I'll have to try to get rid of the
Helper Application listing of Adobe then!!

No need for about:config
Like I mentioned Ed. I have nothing in Helper Applications for Portable
Document Format (PDF), and the extension works just fine.
I also don't see a way to delete a Content Type from Helper Applications.
I still think he should try a new profile.
