I don't seem to be able to do it in 2.17.1, either.
Depending on the image type and my chosen settings, I can send an image
as an attachment, or as a broken box inline.
Yes, Paul, thank you, attachments seem to work fine, but that doesn't
fly very well in stationery groups.

JOOC, what if you insert it inline AND attach it? Does it stay inline
then?
(thinking it could be HREF-ing relatively instead of absolutely and
losing it.???)
