I have been diligently seeking out resources to put together a
high-visibility theme for SeaMonkey. In my journey, I have located an
extension that I think others could benefit from.
If you are aware of this extension, please share your experiences!
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
The site appears to claim it is only for FireFox, but so far it seems to
work beautifully with SeaMonkey with zero modifications.
I have successfully used it to enlarge all fonts in SeaMonkey to size 16
and Tiresias font. The logon screen appears fully within my SeaMonkey
at this size.
The only issue I have found is within Lightning... The sidebar with the
current date is also affected; thus it has SHRUNKEN to the selected size.
I am unaware of any other issues with this extension so far, I literally
installed it 5 minutes ago.
If you know of any other extensions of themes with qualities you believe
would be great for our theme, please by all means share some links!
:D

I'm using it right now. It doesn't solve everything but it solves a lot,
at least enough to keep me from quitting SeaMonkey. The problem with it
is that one font is not enough, especially when you can't change any
style aspect of the font. More importantly in my opinion, is that one
size is not enough. A drop-down menu of five entries should be bolder
than a bookmarks sidebar with fifty. But the extension solves enough to
make it worthwhile and I'm glad someone saw fit to create it.
This is a great example of an extension providing a ready-made useful
critique of the product it seeks to improve, and I hope the SeaMonkey
development team has the maturity to see that. In addition to being a
headache for users (since Mozilla relies on the use of compatible
extensions) these Dewey Decimal version releases are great at keeping
the bigger picture obscured. What Google does doesn't have to drive
/*everything*/.
