I want to setup mail message filters based on body text.
It is an IMAP mail account.

When creating/editing filters, I only get offered header fields to
filter on. When selecting those, the filtering works OK. However,
there is no header that I can use for my particular filtering need.

After searching, I read a technical article that says I need to
add a custom header named "Body" and it will be used to filter on
body text. It does not appear to work.

Is the name "Body" translated in localized versions of Seamonkey?
(the predefined headers appear to be translated in the selection list)

If so, how can I find what translation is being used for "Body"?

Is filtering on body text actually working for IMAP mail accounts
in current Seamonkey versions?

I've never been able to get a Custom Filter of any kind to work in SM,
so I'm left wondering just what and how they are supposed to work...

They have always worked fine for me. They can reroute messages from the
Inbox to any of your subfolders based on criteria you select.
Like, who From, Subject contains keyword, Body contains keyword, etc

I've used them to keyword filter usenet posts to delete, and that works just fine but I can only get "Sender" and "Subject Contains" to work.

I've tried to implement Custom filtering on Path Header contents in the past, but it's never worked.

Anyway, WFM ever since Netscape 4.7, and I'm now on SM 2.17 with some of
the original filters. Like, stuff that ACTUALLY has my real name in the
"To" field goes to "Geoff Mail" instead of just the Inbox.

GW on OSX and OS 8.6 before that

I'm on a Mac too - generally I just care to filter usenet spam posts, I use Apple Mail for the majority of e-mail other than response to net-encounters on the fly.
