Every time I open SM email ALL my emails come in over & over & over.
Right now there's 6 copies of every email.

[ ] Leave messages on server
If you download messages and also leave them on the server, it stands
to reason that the next time you download mail, you'll get another
copy. Unless of course the system somehow marks them as retrieved...
I "Leave messages on server" for 7 days and only receive them once. The
system is supposed to mark them as retrieved. So it's not that.
Maybe there would be a clue if Mike C would tell us whether he's using
POP3 or IMAP, and who is the ISP or mail service.
Using pop 3 (regular SM email).
You didn't answer whether you have "Leave messages on server" checked, nor
who your ISP or mail service is. Should we assume the address you posted
with (at earthlink.net) is the problem account? Things could be different
if you are talking about a Gmail or Hotmail-type account.
I have 15 accounts, some from my own domain names, some from my broadband
provider, some from Gmail, and from Yahoo (all are POP3) and none of mine
are doing what you describe.
It's my brother who has Reliance Connects ( [email protected] )
And it's Broadband.
And yes, leave messages on server until deleted in SM.
That's the way we have always done it.
That way we can go to their web mail and see the messages later from a
different computer.
