Forgetting the information is okay since that method no longer works. Instead, try installing the Remember Passwords extension from <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/remember-passwords/>. Note that the extension (and the old method) still does not work for all cases, but it works (or worked) for many cases where the Web site attempts to block the saving of passwords.
