Also, once in a while SeaMonkey will be super slow or frozen in its
processs with one of my CPU cores going at max(imum) usage. It is
probably I have too many complex and various tabs (e.g., 150+) going at
once. :)
My VM can go high as 8 GB of pagefile with 2.5 GB (actually 3,
but I think VRAM takes 512 MB of it?) of RAM.
(VRAM takes virtual memory, not physical memory.)
Uh, where did my 512 MB of RAM, from 3 GB, go then? I was told Video RAM
takes some. I have an old ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB; PCIe).
OK, so you don't have a problem with virtual memory.
I think your problem is that Windows can't allocate more than 2 GB
to a 32-bit process, unless you mess with the kernel config:
