This bug comment has the list of 74 newsgroups that weren't getting
mirrored to the mailing lists.

According to that bug report they are looking at ways of picking this up
quicker if it happens again. One of the Dupes -

after the original problem happened and contains appeals to finally look
at the problem.
Looks like the bug-reporting mechanism broke down.
