Is it just me?? (Probably, but I'll ask anyway!)
On the SeaMonkey irc on Tuesday, I read that a SM 2.20b2 was being spun
ready for release, so tonight, approx 48hrs later, I thought I'd check
if they were available yet, and they were, at
http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/2.20b2, so I started d/l'ing
both the Linux and Windows version (and just now I realise I want the
Linux 64 bit, whereas that chart is for the 32 bit version, so, later,
I'll have to d/l the Contributed 64bit version from near the bottom of
that page!!) ....
However, as I was downloading the two files, I started thinking "Did I
get to select where I wanted the d/l'ed files saved??" and I couldn't
recall either version offering a d/l location!!
I checked the usual locations I d/l these files to, but couldn't see any
downloading happening, checked the Download Manager but it showed
nothing happening in the last couple of days! I checked my web account
download site and it was showing I'd downloaded 48MB tonight, which
means I must have d/l'ed the files, or at least two big parts! So I
thought I'd try again with the (wrong) Linux version .... the Network
monitor showed plenty of activity, my usage tonight is now over 79MB,
but still no option of where to save the file, nor any entry in the
Download Managers list of files downloaded.
This is all on my Linux install as listed below.
Anybody else seeing this mystery??
