Do you have Adobe Reader or some other PDF application? If not, that is the cause of your problem. If you do have Adobe Reader, do the following: 1. On the SeaMonkey menu bar, select [Edit > Preferences]. 2. On the left side of the Preferences window under Category, select [Browser > Helper Applications]. 3. Select Adobe Acrobat Document. On the right of that selection, use the pull-down selection list to select "Use Adobe Acrobat (in SeaMonkey)". 4. Repeat #3 for any other Adobe entries. 5. Select the OK button at the bottom of the window. NOTE: SeaMonkey will use Adobe Reader even though the selected application says "Adobe Acrobat". Acrobat is the writer used to generate PDF documents. The Reader plugin, however, identifies itself as "Adobe Acrobat". This is an Adobe problem, not a SeaMonkey problem. If you have a non-Adobe application for viewing PDF files, follow the above steps #1-#5 with an exception in step #3. There, select "Use other" in the pull-down selection list. That will provide you with the capabilities to select from a longer list of applications or to browse your hard drive for the application you want to use. -- David E.
