I am not too fond of this new behaviour either, so I checked about:config and found two related settings:

Since the latest upgrade Seamonkey now supports the Win7 taskbar properly (ie it now has the grouping ability for it's own tabs), which is a shame as it sucks. I don't want to have to click on the taskbar shortcut then choose a tab as the tab I want is usually the one I was looking at when I minimised the window. Is theer a way to turn that bug (feature) off?
