A major rewrite of Password Manager made that method obsolete. It no longer works. Have you tried the Remember Passwords extension? The Web site for SeaMonkey says: "Not available for SeaMonkey 2.21"; but it works just fine anyway. You can get it at <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remember-passwords/> if you spoof Firefox. A SeaMonkey-specific link to this extension does not work. You might have to tweak it to install it in SeaMonkey. If you have a problem, reply in this thread. Note that neither the old change nor this extension will work for all passwords. The logins for some Web sites are contrived to prevent users from saving passwords. -- David E. Ross <http://www.rossde.com/> Where does your elected official stand?
