For reasons which are not germane to this issue, I am frozen
at 2.17.1, which (when the moon is in the ascendant, and
Jupiter aligns with Mars) displays the full login box (at
least, it does not appear visually truncated to me).

...I froze at 2.13.2 (Mac) because of this issue occurring within SM
itself re: Master Password request dialog.
But since then it appears others have gone and taken a closer look and
found the short dialog problem to be even more extensive than that in
some instances, and not just in the Mac version.
