No no, this is not the problem, the problem is that the developers
should work on
what is important.
And stop wasting their time on that nobody wants.
I know you want it - that's just fine - but the developers are users
too, so they
understandably put in what they want. Generally as users themselves
the developers have a lot of empathy with users. The rest of us think
"how hard can it be?" :-)
