It's got to be in my computer because I have 2 computers and on the
other one (which is a mirror of the 1st) Sea Monkey is working perfectly
as always. It's like my computer can't recognize web pages any more in
SM; However, those same webpages load fine in Firefox.

I concur with cmcadams.
Flush your DNS and see if it helps.
