So far I've tried 2.6.1, 2.6.2, 2.7b1:
Unfortunately none seem to work for me, either, and haven't for a while.
It doesn't work in 32bit either (see where I changed the subject line by
removing '64'.

I've filed a bug report:
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=941217>
I do not use lightning but have now enabled building it in my new build
of SM trunk. This is the result:

----- application.ini -----
[App]
Vendor=Mozilla
Name=Lightning
Version=3.0a1
BuildID=20131120221822
---------------

Maybe, it would work for my SM 2.25a1. Unfortunately it requires

----- application.ini -----
[Gecko]
MinVersion=28.0a1
MaxVersion=28.0a1
---------------

so it is not suitable for you.

?? Hartmut, have you tried to install your local nightly trunk Lightning build into your local nightly trunk SM ? I don't think it can even work in the nightly!

For Phil Chee, Dominique and myself, who've reported it to Philipp Kewisch via mozilla.dev.apps.calendar (message<Re: TypeError: this.tree.view is undefined Source file: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-unifinder.js>), Lightning's been breaking Modern theme's Messaging tabs folders and data (blank tab), even though the calendar functions are unaffected.
