It's already being worked on (in fact I was the one who wrote the fix).
From the author's home page, go to the mailing list archives, December
2013. [Please don't post a direct link to any of the XPIs over there
here, I want everyone to be aware that these are still experimental test
versions. Once a fully tested new version is available, the author will
release it himself and update AMO.]
