The OP is using some port/connection monitoring software. Whenever he's connected to the internet, it shows that he's connected to this server on the NNTP port. He's trying to stop that connection from ever happening. He never uses NNTP, preferring the mozillazine web forums. (I think now that when he said "Seamonkey forum", he must have meant the the mozillazine one.) I believe some news client on his machine is running and is configured to connect with this server automatically. Since he never uses NNTP, it's safe to wipe out that account in his client, once we can find out what the client is. I've already given instructions in case it's SeaMonkey. _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
