The developer of Better Privacy made a decision not to maintain the extension for SeaMonkey compatibility. Here is how to get it anyway: 1. Download (do not attempt to install yet) Better Privacy 1.68.m from <ftp://ftp.2rosenthals.com/pub/Mozilla/Extensions/modified-for-SM-2.x/>. 2. Open the .xpi file in a ZIP application. 3. Edit file install.rdf in a plain-text editor (e.g., Notepad, Wordpad, but definitely NOT Word). 4. Under <!--SeaMonkey-->, change the line em:maxVersion="2.9.*" to read em:maxVersion="2.25.*" 5. Save install.rdf back into the .xpi file. (Many ZIP applications will do this.) 6. Terminate the ZIP application, which closes the .xpi file. 7. Now install the extension. -- David E.
