Both browsers have Click to Play plugin which works for HTML5 as well as

You are saying that when you go to Youtube, for instance, and there is
video there that plays in HTML5 that it just starts playing on SM and
Fx? It shouldn't. IE 10 (on Win 8) is a very different story as HTML5
video will just start playing on IE but on Fx and SM you should get a
click to play arrow.

Really? I see some HTML5 media players show up rarely. I will have to find some
later to share. I know MP3s will play automatically like

Well im concerned about this too. Not only media play, but also on certain
sites i have seen some flashy (pun intended) html5/svg based advertisements
with moving stuff etc, looking exacctly like the flash based ones. Besides
being annoying, they used quite some cpu.
