Neil, Just to confirm: this happened again today & the 'hack' (number 3) does work for me. It clears the issue & the held emails are immediately downloaded. Is there a way to script this so that I only have to click an icon/button? Would be helpful for both linux & windows (my brother has the same issue on his windows xp system).
