Off topic, but perhaps of interest to people with scrolling problems:
I recently discovered that I couldn't always scroll using the sliders when using Google's Chrome browser. Migrating from the Stable channel to the mildly-risky Beta channel fixed it for me.
One other thing that got fixed was the annoying "Page not responding" popups than started happening a week or two ago.
