Hawker, I don't know if it's related, but there have been problems
with "spell check as you type", i. e. check out bugs
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=585427 and
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=920716, so it might be
worthwhile switching to "spell check prior to sending".
I don't understand why "It works fine on other web sites" ... if it
works on other web sites - SM in not the culprit.
It's possible that this site could be doing something legitimate in its
coding that exposes a flaw in SeaMonkey, while the others are not using
that feature.
Or it could be that this site is doing something improper and SeaMonkey
is intolerant of that error. The Mozilla family has a long history of
intolerance for non-W3C-compliant Micro$oft programs and sites, and
Micro$oft has a long history of inventing their own coding and telling
the rest of the world to "deal with it."
But you're right that until we figure out what's going on, we can't
point fingers.
