At first I'd get popup windows asking me to change
my "Search Engine" defaults to Amazon.
I hit the Esc button to kill them.
Now I get an AVG Popup asking the same thing.
Are these Trojan or Virus related ?
I do an AVG Free Virus search occasionally and it
finds
two or three "Threats", but this popup stuff seems
to be increasingly a problem.
Should I be concerned about these ?
How do I stop them ?
BTW - I also get a Password Window that come up
for "Hide Files & Folders" application that I do
use for my banking & Stock activity.
I did not set up any prompting for it to do that.
Sometimes I persists to the point of not letting
me do anything !
Does Windows XP have some routine that remembers
what you 'normally' do and then pushes it on you ?
