I have a second computer running Windows 7 and don't have any problem. It is only with the one running XP SP3 where I see a problem. > > It might have something to do with the fact that I'm very, very, VERY > picky regarding Facebook apps -- Facebook apps are provided by third > parties, and not only they are an humongous privacy issue, but many of > them are probably badly written. Perhaps one of them is the culprit. > I think the apps are a part of the problem. I have a test Facebook ID that I use for testing which has no apps. On that ID and my XP computer, usage goes down to 50%. On the test ID and my Windows 7 machine, it is less then 5%. On the XP machine, it will get close to 0 when I click on Messages, Timeline, Ads Manager or Events. However, clicking on Newsfeed takes me to 50%. If I switching to Google Chrome, don't have a problem at all. While apps contribute to the problem, it appears that there is also a problem with SM or FF running on Windows XP SP3. _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
