I went to weather.com (did not choose any locations) and it left eight

OK tried to download BetterPrivacy, I was able to download however, when
it tried to install, it reported that it was not compatible with version
2.24 SM.
I have managed to get BetterPrivacy to install into SeaMonkey, but I had
to make several changes to chrome.manifest and install.rdf in the .xpi
archive to get that to happen.
In chrome.manifest, I had to add under skin bprivacy classic skin/
overlay chrome://navigator/content/navigator.xul
chrome://bprivacy/content/bprivacyoverlay.xul
overlay chrome://communicator/content/pref/pref-security.xul
chrome://bprivacy/content/bprivacysanitizer.xul
overlay chrome://communicator/content/sanitize.xul
chrome://bprivacy/content/bprivacysanitizer.xul
In install.rdf, I had to add under em:maxVersion="11.*"
/>
for Firefox:
<!--SeaMonkey-->
<Description RDF:about="rdf:#$dLacB4"
em:id="{92650c4d-4b8e-4d2a-b7eb-24ecf4f6b63a}"
em:minVersion="1.5"
em:maxVersion="3.*"
/>
That enabled me to install BetterPrivacy into SeaMonkey, and it is
necessary because that extension was not intended to be used with
anything other than Firefox, even though it will work with SeaMonkey.
The only difference is that the extra "Flash Cookies" setting does not
appear in the clear data list. You can set it to clear flash cookies
when the application starts up, when it closes, and at intervals, however.
Interesting I just installed BetterPrivacy and I did not have to do
anything to get it to install. Must be a option we have set different or
something.
