I have similar issue and i think it has something to do with adblock
version.I think a recent version of adblock is causing this issue.
Do I assume you have the same version as mine? I asked about this in
ABP's official forum:

Finally a re(ply/sponse) in my forum thread. It is a known issue and
there's an UserChrome.css workaround as shown in
https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=20587 forum thread. I
asked when this would be fixed since I really don't want to edit my file
if it is a known issue. :(
