I'm running 2.24 on SUSE Linux, but I've been having trouble with this for a little while now. Just after the latest update it has become a daily event. Actually it seems to be after running for just a few hours.
Currently, message filters seem to be working and messages are moved to the right folder, but delete is not working, and Junk messages are being tagged, but not moved to 'Junk'. When creating a new message, the local copy is not happening and one has to cancel out to delete the pop-up and loose it. This has been happening for a few versions, but had been after running for several days. I'd restarted last night before tidying emails, and this morning it's broken again so I'm about to restart.
