This bug is 9 years old, it has not been fixed up to now and
lets face it, it won't ever gets fixed because
nobody wants to work on it or
maybe the Thunderbird developers are happy with the fact that
Thunderbird is an inferior news client.
So why don't we just close this bug. Pretty much all people seriously
using Usenet have most likely
stopped using TB years ago (just like I did) because it's pointless.
I suggest setting status to resolved => won't fix.
Well, since Thunderbird is being developed by the community now and that
is a bug for MailNews Core used by both Thunderbird and SeaMonkey, maybe
someone knows a developer that would like to join the community and work
on it.
