Just now I had reason to re-visit a page that I had just been at.
Originally, from one of my "Home Group", I visited Google Maps and, by
the time I had located my point of interest, when I went back to my
"Home Group" page, there were three or four listings of Google in the
drop down list.
I then re-visited the final Google Maps page, from the drop-down list,
and (having checked what I wanted) I then wanted to go back to my "Home
Group" page, and there were seven listings of Google in the drop-down
list.
Shouldn't I just be getting the one listing of Google Maps in the drop
down list?? Or is the new format of Google Maps mucking things up (The
very first time I went to the Google Maps page today, I got a "pop-over"
advising of a new Google groups!).
Is this a case of nobody else revisiting a page or of nobody
experiencing my problem??
Probably just me!!
Not sure what you mean by "Home Group". The location bar's drop-down?
Rather than having a single "Home Page", I have six sites in my "Home
Group" or group of Home Pages, if you like!
If you're seeing multiple Google Maps URLs it's probably because each
search you do on the maps page actually loads a unique URL even though,
to you, you feel like you're on the same page.
Ah!! So when I Zoom in, that's a new URL request. O.K., thanks Ed, can't
say I've noticed it before.
