It should be safe to copy from the old profile these files:
places.sqlite - for bookmarks and history
sessionstore.json - stored session
files with .mab extensions = address books
cookies.sqlite - for cookies
permissions.sqlite - exceptions to settings for cookies, popups, images,
sites allowed to install addons
localstore.rdf - window sizes and toolbar configs
