On my Mac running OSX 10.6 (SnowLeopard), I have Sea Monkey 2.24 and Firefox 3.6.26. While my Firefox plays YouTube videos without problem (only YouTube complaining that this old Firefox version won't be supported anymore soon), I see on Sea Monkey the message
A plugin is needed to display this content where the YouTube video is supposed to be. I also get a yellow bar on the top of the page with a button saying "install missing plugins". When I click this button, a window with title "Plugin Finder Service" pops up, saying "No suitable plugins were found". Do I have to do anything special to use YouTube? On Firefox, I have the Plugins "Quicktime 7.6.3", "RealTime Player 0.0.1d1", "Flip4Mac Windows Media Plugin 2.2" and "Shockwave 10.0.23" installed. On Sea Monkey, I have the first three too, but Shockwave is missing. Maybe this is needed for You Tube, but then I don't understand, why the Plugin Finder doesn't find something suitable...
