How do I stop receiving all these emails which are not the subject I

I've already tried using digest mode but my subject replies were included
as well. I want to get only emails about the topics I started/replied to.

Edward, I don't think this function is available if you use the lists,
it's all or none.
If, however, you connect to the newsgroup by setting up a news server
account (Edit->Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings and then select "Add
Account" in left pane) connecting to news.mozilla.org and then selecting
any of the news group which attract your fancy (like
mozilla.support.seamonkey), you will then only download a list of the
subjects which you can then look at and, if any subjects attract your
attention, you can then download those posts. If you are not interested
in any of them, all you've downloaded is the list of subjects.
