Last night, after reading my groups whereabouts, I opened my UseNet
account, expecting it to update all my UseNet groups

Eventually, I got the "Failed to connect to server free.teranews.com."
message, and it was no great problem, I've got a late season Flu, so
figured a early night might help me.

Tonight, same same, and even though I'm still feeling crook so I'm again
heading to bed early but figured I ask if a anyone else is having
[problems with www.teranews.com?? The response I get to the webpage is ....

Address Not Found

www.teranews.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again.

 From <http://www.teranews.com/>:
Please add @teranews.com to the end of your user name in your news
client config. The IP address of the servers have changed. Make sure
you are using the host names, for example news.teranews.com and not
the IP number. The recent IP change also has caused some
authentication problems that should now be fixed. If your password is
being rejected without a valid cause let us know

Especially note the second and third sentences.

David, I got caught for not having the "@teranews.com" maybe a month ago, and fixed it and things have been fine, but checking back, I'm appearing as "Daniel", so you may be pointing in the right direction ..... except, tonight on Win7, I'm showing as "Daniel" and have access to the groups!!

Hmmm!!
