BTW, when replying to digest emails it's easier for others to follow and
see what you're replying to if you:
1. Change the subject line from "Re: support-seamonkey Digest..." to
"Re: <the topic you're replying to>"
2. Delete the other topics from your reply, so only the part you're
replying to remains.
For me, reading Tim's response from a newsreader (Seamonkey), I've
noticed that all of his responses are turning up as new threads
(including that the subject line is showing the digest name, rather than
the original subject). Seeing headers of a previous message quoted in a
response leads me to believe that he's replying to messages by
forwarding a previously-posted message and then top-posting his response.
For Tim:
It's not necessarily a problem that you're using OE, but you need to be
using Reply, rather than forward. And as noted, make sure that your
subject line is relevant to the topic, and not the name of the digest.
Also, please be aware that this is one of the places where top-posting
is strongly discouraged. For what you have to contribute, put your
contributions *below* quoted material (and delete stuff that's not
relevant to what you have to say).
Be aware that subscribing to a reasonably active group using digest mode
may be a good way of keeping your inbox from being overwhelmed (i.e.,
rather than getting each individual contribution separately), it's
doesn't make things easy, if you want to contribute, especially if you
want to respond to other postings.
There's actually several ways of getting mozilla.support.seamonkey.
Email subscription (whether individual messages or digests) is one.
Google Groups another.
A third methodology (and I think, used by many here) is via NNTP News,
where you set a news client to get content from news.mozilla.org (using
port 119). Both Seamonkey and Outlook Express include news clients.
Thus, if you're using OE for mail, it's not difficult to set up OE to
get traffic from the mozilla news server, as news.

a look at the Netiquette page

points about "Trim your posting" and "Top-posting vs bottom-posting.".
