Yes, I've thought of backing out as well with all the "fun" with
passwords as well. I am going to stick with it a little longer, as I
just ran into something new in this "freeze" issue.
After my last post I opened the error console and left it open in hopes
it might show me something the next time I saw the "freeze" issue. It
happened, but I didn't see anything there that made any sense to me. I
was called away from the system at that point. When I returned in a few
hours I was surprised to find that the "freeze" had passed! don't know
if this was due to having the error console open, something I did with
the error console when it occurred, or if it simply would have cleared
itself with time in any case.
So the puzzle continues, but perhaps I won't need to shutdown and
restart SeaMonkey to deal with this issue.
