Hello !!!!
When replying to an e-mail I've been Unable to use more than "once" the
function "Paste as quotation"..
What happens when you try using it a second time? Is the Paste as
Quotation option greyed out (unavailable)? Is it available but just
doesn't do anything? Is the normal Paste option available and working?
I've been able in the past to select different parts of the e-mail and
reply to these selected parts under.... by using the facility "Paste as
quotation" as it appears in the "Edit" menu!!!!
A possible workaround if you're replying to just one email:
- Edit > Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
- Under the account you're using, select "Composition and Addressing"
- Tick "Automatically quote the original message when replying"
Then, when you start a reply, you should have the original message
already quoted for you. You can then place the cursor where you want to
insert replies, press Enter a couple of times and type your replies.
Doesn't help so much if you want to paste text from several different
sources as quotations through.
Another thought... If you paste a quotation, save as draft, close the
message and re-open the draft - are you then able to paste another
quotation? And does it stop working after the first time again? Not very
usable even if that does work, but may someone trying to debug the
problem some clue as to what's going on.
I'm using Seamonkey 2.30 with Windows 7 Professional.
Works for me on SeaMonkey 2.26.1 (must get round to upgrading
sometime...) on Windows Vista.
Does anyone had experienced that????????????
Let me know!
Thanks to the whole community there!!!
