The original is only available for Thunderbird.
No, it is also available for SeaMonkey. I did a search for it from the
addons site set to SM, and it appeared with a SeaMonkey logo at the top
of the page. You do have to bump up the max version for SM in
install.rdf to get it to install, however.
I'll have to investigate. I tried editing the .rdf file to no avail.
