BLUE is "#0000FF" PURPLE is "#800080"
Therefore certainly not purple nor ligth purple - it's closer to blue.

Colors are not points in the three-dimensional color space, they're ranges, and different people divide up the space differently. I'd call it "lilac" when speaking to a woman and "light purple" when speaking to a man. And different monitors and printers have different calibrations, so the same code looks a little different on different monitors and printers.

But whatever; we're off-topic and the problem is solved. Let's move on.
