Hello.
Is anyone else having problems connecting to both
<http://myuscchart.keckmedicine.org/> and <http://keckmedicine.org/>
web sites under 2/two different SeaMonkey web browsers on two/2
different machines (v2.26.1 in 64-bit W7 EE SP1 and v2.30 in Mac OS X
10.9.5)?
SM says:
"Redirect Loop
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested
page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked. ...
Same problem here, both sites. My default is first-party session cookies
only, and I haven't listed these sites as exceptions to that policy. If
they require third-party cookies, that could be it. If your other
browsers are set to accept all cookies all the time, they would accept
the third-party cookies.
You can list these sites as exceptions to your general policy and see if
that helps. Or you can change your general policy to allow third-party
cookies:
Edit | Preferences | Privacy & Security | Cookies
Cookie Acceptance Policy
(o) Block cookies
(o) Allow cookies for the originating website only
(no third-party cookies)
() Allow third-party cookies for previously visited websites only
(o) Allow all cookies
Unfortunately, whoever designed the UI for SeaMonkey's Cookie Manager
didn't think to include an "Add site" button in the Cookie Manager, so
you can't just add a site directly without trying to visit it first.
Would you like to explain why I could get that site with Firefox set not
to allow it any cookies? I default to blocking cookies and make
exceptions for a few sites whose cookies I need, and that site was not
one of those.
