While it still involves some manual operations, I use the PrefBar extension to enable or disable AdBlock Plus from PrefBar's tool bar. After customizing my menu bar, navigation tool bar, and PrefBar tool bar, I don't need a Web site navigation bar or bookmarks tool bar and have disabled those. Thus, I have only three bars at the top of my SeaMonkey window: menu, navigation tool, and PrefBar. -- David E.
