I have problem here with SM 2.31 (it was the same with previous
versions) and Win XP SP3.
I can't print any e-mail, can't save any e-mail, can't download any
file
through web browser, neither upload any file.
I'm on normal user account.
I logout from normal user, login as admin and everything is fine.
But of course I don't want to be admin during normal day-to-day work.
Any ideas please?
Corrupted profile? Try creating a new user and test with that...
And, I think, Jamie was suggesting a new *SeaMonkey* profile, not a
Windows profile.
Tools->Switch Profiles->Manage Profiles->Create Profile
Note that on the third screen (Completing the Create Profile Wizard),
where you name the new Profile, you can also determine where it will be
stored by selecting "Choose Folder" if you don't want it in the default
location.
After you've made the new Profile, and it's solved your problem
(hopefully), come back here and someone will be able to tell you (or
direct you to instructions for) how to combine your old profile files
into your new profile.
Hey, I've created new profile (in default location), but unfortunately
it didn't seem to solve the problem.
Isn't it something related to the Windows account?
I was going to suggest that, maybe, your account files were marked as
Read-Only, but, if you have created a new profile (over the top of your old
profile), the likelihood of it being Read-Only is non-existent, so I'm out,
sorry :-(
