IOW if you run a beta version, then you might want to consider at least
filing a bug report and participate in the beta process before
lambasting seaMonkey overall.
NoOp, you're right, of course. But I was hoping someone else would see
my message and file a bug report for me and anyone else who has the
problem. That's one of the reasons I put my message out there. And, the
release version 2.31 has at least the same bug of importing JSON
bookmarks and news feeds (just checked on a fresh new profile). It's
unfortunate that a release version has bugs like this as well, and not
just the beta.
I also don't want to lambast "seaMonkey overall" as you put it, as I'm
well aware that a lot of time and effort goes into making this product.
But I am not a new user to this software suite and wanted to voice some
frustration with it. I also praised it earlier in my comments, and for
good reason.
