Paul, I found the culprit. Thanks for getting me to look at my list of
add-ons. It was Adblock Plus. I thought I would try disabling it first
before killing them all, it worked!
The video is working here with AdBlock Plus not disabled.

Of course, we could have different subscription lists (sets of ABP
filters), or the OP could have a custom filter that's blocking it. Or
the OP could have an older version of ABP (I have 2.6.6 -- view version
info at about:addons).
Would not work for me with Bluhell Firewall until I disabled Bluhell for
that page. Note in the status bar and the countless ad servers accessed
while the video initializes and you can understand why such addons block
the video!
