When defining mail sub-folders, tags AND "custom views", I did
a reasonably good job. However, I was not perfect in predicting

Is there a tool to extract *EVERYTHING* from a mail folder and
place it in a relational database?

I could be more specific about what I *THINK* I need, but I'm
looking for input from those who have "been there, done that" ;/

Experimented with "Save as Search Folder" unsuccessfully.

Looking for ideas more than perfect solutions.

TIA

Richard, how about completely closing SM, going to the location
of your profile and re-naming the errant folder to what you want,
then re-start SM??

<CHUCKLE>
I do not have an "errant folder".
I have changing/amorphous/aberrant/??? needs/wants/wishes/??? .

I'm subscribed to several mailing mailing lists and follow a few USENET
groups(folder for each). They all deal with Linux generally or a specific
distribution. I use tags for some broad
classifications of subject and importance. I need more flexibility, thus my
request for existing tools copy files to a relational database.

Sorry, Richard, I was just trying to be a bit flippant by my use of the term "errant folder", but thought it was a folder you wanted to rename, and I didn't hone in on your use of the term "Relational Database", which I know nothing about!!

Sorry.
