Just a thought but it would probably be a good idea to ensure that
seamonkey can use the firefox marketplace the same as regular firefox
can. As of right now apps won't install but will in firefox.

Apps don't install in SeaMonkey because there is no support for
webapps
in SeaMonkey. This has nothing to do with Marketplace.

That is funny. That marketplace page does not open with Firefox or
SeaMonkey, only with Safari.
Works fine in Seamonkey 2.17 with all of its old inherent security and
compatibility issues.
Also works fine here in SeaMonkey 2.32 without the old inherent security
and compatibility issues. Came up instantly and fully. Haven't tried
installing anything, though.
Haven't tried in SeaMonkey but the two apps I test installed in Firefox
installed to Windows, put shortcuts on the desktop, and were able to be
uninstalled via Windows Programs and Features. Nothing about them
appeared anywhere in Firefox's UI, although their install info were in
folders in the FF profile.
I'm addicted to Back to Candyland. iBasket is also fun.
