Bottom-posting, so as not to enrage folks...<grin> Yes, and the spell check works very nicely. Somewhere I recall a utility that lets you add "Word Count" to the right-click context menu. This will enable me to shade the entire document, right-click, and get a word count. If memory serves me correctly, it was a Windows utility. I wonder if there's such a thing for Linux.
