I'm again having problems playing videos on this site. It plays the ad
before the videos, but not the video. Says file is corrupted or
video is
not supported. The videos do play OK with IE.

You can test it by choosing any video on this page.

I also am now getting a popup every time I open the web site, even
with
adblock plus enabled.

Uh, which site? Which page?

Sorry, my copy of SeaMonkey didn't come with the mind-reading
extension.

It would have been nice if Tom had explicitly stated which site he was
having problems with, but, as he was replying to (but not quoting any
of) LR's post which included a link to
<http://www.fark.com/vidplayer/7364212>, I'm guessing that's the site to
which Tom was referring.

Really? How do you know that? I don't see anything in his subject line
or message headers that would suggest that. From all I can tell, he
started a new thread.

Sorting messages by author I see nothing from LR on that subject since
October 2012. Why would Tom suddenly "reply" to that thread out of the
blue without quoting any of it or referring to it at all?

You're a much better mind-reader than I. Congratulations.

It seems I'm not much of a mind-reader after all, Paul, as Tom has
posted that he was having probs with http://www.goerie.com/ not fark.com
as I suggested/guessed!!

LR's message was posted, according to *my* threads pane at 05/10/12
07:00, but, as you're most likely in a different time zone and DST zone,
you'd have to make any time adjustments. ;-(

Well, let's see...

Looking at your message header, I see "Date: Sun, 08 Mar 2015 22:32:58 +1100," which displays as "7:32 AM" (today) in my list pane. Your previous message on "Date: Sat, 07 Mar 2015 20:08:21 +1100" displays as "3/7/2015 4:08 AM," which could potentially be misinterpreted as "July 3" unless we assume messages cannot be sent in the future (personal computers do sometimes have bad date/time settings).

LR's last message in the thread "Video Problem" has the date header "Date: Thu, 4 Oct 2012 18:40:43 -0700 (PDT)" which is unambiguous, and displays on my system as "10/4/2012 9:40 PM." This could potentially be misinterpreted as "April 10," but I'm going to assume you know your own date format and recognize it as October 4.

I do see how the thread began at "Thu, 4 Oct 2012 14:00:22 -0700 (PDT)," which would already be October 5 in Oz. The 18-hour time zone difference between your +1100 and his -0700 would put it at 08:00:22 your time. I can't explain the one-hour discrepancy.
